Cuyahoga County Internship
Animated Veteran's Memorial Bridge
My team and I created a video to advertise Cuyahoga County's Veteran's Memorial Bridge Tour.  Below is my concept sketch, matching lower third assets and the clip I animated at the end of the video.  I designed, created, rigged and animated everything (in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects).
Property Tax Videos
I made a series of 5 social media videos about ways residents could pay their property taxes.  Below are 2 of the videos.  I storyboarded, designed, rigged and animated everything (in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects).
Christmas Charity Campaigns and Logos
I designed, illustrated and animated a social media marketing video for Hope for the Holidays, the charity program the County runs to get children in foster or county care Christmas presents.  The project had a week turnaround, which I met.
The group was so happy with the animation that my assignment was expanded to include redesigning the logos for Hope for the Holidays, Elves for Elders and Adopt-a-Family.
Below are some of the sketches, illustrated logos and animations I made for each program (using Procreate, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects).
(Christmas Bonus)
I also made an internal Ugly Sweater Day video.  I designed, rigged and animated it (in Adobe Illustrator and After Effects).
Social Media Campaigns
I was assigned 2 social media campaigns for Cuyahoga County's social media, Black History Month 2024 and Women's History Month 2024.  I researched, designed, illustrated (Procreate), wrote and animated (Canva) each post.  I created 13 unique posts for Black History Month and 14 for Women's History Month.
Below are the month introduction posts for each month, and my favorite person from each campaign, Garrett Morgan and Jane Scott.
Cybersecurity Month Gifs
I storyboarded, designed and animated a series of 3 gifs for Cuyahoga County's internal Cybersecurity Month classes.  My boss came up with the concept of using cybersecurity unicorns (the IT guys really like unicorns).
Below are the intro and outro gifs I made (they are just mp4s for my website).  I was inspired by 80s after school PSAs for the style (crunchy, raw, poor quality, hand made).
Deck of Dice internship
In my internship at Deck of Dice LLC, I made and edited ads for social media.
Below is my favorite project, based on the candy game that shall remain unnamed.  I illustrated the hand and candy pieces by hand in Procreate, gathered footage from the Shake It Up Dice game and from our development team, and animated everything in Adobe After Effects.  I made it in 1:1, 9:16 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
Tractor Supply Internship
Tractor Supply Internship Video
My final project for my internship with Tractor Supply Co was to make a video showing what the intern experience at Tractor is like.  I had the opportunity to schedule interviews, write questions, shoot the interviews and b-roll, and edit it all together.  It was a great learning experience, and I loved being able to make a video with friends.
Here are four projects I created during my internship with Tractor:
Top Left: I animated a photoshop file of a logo for the beginning of a skit video.  I was also able to record the sound with my team.
Top Right: I received an Illustrator file for the theme logo of the Annual Sales Meeting (the biggest meeting of the year at Tractor), and I animated it using a tutorial video on youtube and changed it to match what my team wanted.
Bottom Left: I was given the opportunity to create the Country Miles videos for Tractor's Annual Sales Meeting, honoring employees who went above and beyond over the year.  Using previous years as examples, I found and combined two after effects templates to create the video using voice overs and pictures that were given to me from my team.
Bottom Right:  I was able to animate a Mobile Minute video that is shown in Tractor Supply break rooms in all the stores.  I was given video, a script, and requests for the final movement of the video.
Lachina Creative Freelance
I was part of a team of students in my animation class who made assets for a video for Lachina Creative.  We were able to assist in creating the style and palette for the final video.  Lachina was preparing to make a video about trauma and abuse for a client, which made style consideration careful and thoughtful.  I made all of the sketches assets below.  Each piece of the scenes are a separate asset to make animation easier.
Keyland Polymer LLC Internship
Benefits Video
This is the first video I made for Keyland Polymer LLC.  I came up with the idea of a video on all the benefits of using UV coating powder.  I collaborated with the marketing lead on the script.  Then I made a color board, made an animatic of how the movement would work, made all the assets in the video (except the logo at the end) and finally animated it. I created the assets and video using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects.
UV Walkthrough Video
This is the second motion graphics video I made for Keyland.  I designed and rigged UV based off of the DVUV logo (a sister company of Keyland), and my friend, Leo Hurley, voiced the character(Leo's website: leopoldhurleyportfolio.squarespace.com). I used Adobe After Effects and Illustrator for most of the assets and all the animation, and Procreate for a few assets.
Motion Graphics Class
Black Cat Explainer Video
This is an explainer video I made for Motion Graphics.  It is a world tour of black cat mythology narrated by my black cat, True.  There is a mix of raster and vector assets in the video, I used Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Procreate.
Runaway Bride End Credits
This is my final from Motion Graphics, an end credit sequence for the totally not cheesy 90s rom-com Runaway Bride.  There are over 100 unique moving assets, yes it hurt, but it was worth it.  I used Procreate to make all the assets and Adobe After Effects to animate.
Also, I know the egg thing seems odd, it is a reference to the lesson in the movie.  Julia Roberts' character kept almost getting married, and with every man she almost married, she always ate her eggs the way the man did.  Richard Gere points out that she keeps running away from marriage, not because she didn't know the men, but because she didn't even know who she was and what kind of eggs she likes.
